To demonstrate exactly how commercial the procession is, this photo is precisely $2.56 worth of produce - some of that was actually store bought, even more lavishly expensive than the street food procession... The mirror, though, I suppose, cost more than $2.56, I didn't buy that so I don't know.

Well, brother, I am finally leaving a comment on your blog, and let's just say I am rather jealous at the cheap and beautiful array of produce which you bought for $2.56. also wanted to let you know that I show up as being a visitor from ITALY, I guess that's where we get our internet from. :-) So now you know who your visitor from Italy is -it's your American/Kenyan sister in Chad. go figure. have a good one!! oh, all the instructions on your web page show up in italian as well, which makes for an interesting navigation.
